Bundle several services into one booking

Sell a haircut, a color and a blow dry as one booking.

The short version

A bundle joins two to five of your events. The visitor picks one start time, fills in one form and pays once. The length and price follow the parts.

What a bundle is

A bundle is one event made of several of your own events. The visitor picks one start time. The services follow each other with no gap. They fill in one form and pay once.

Think of a haircut, a color and a blow dry. Each is its own event. The bundle books all three in a row.

Making a bundle

Open the bundle event and go to its Bookings page. Find Bundle of services. Under Add a service choose one of your events and select Add. Add at least two and at most five.

Use Move up and Move down to set the order. Use Remove to take one out. Select Save bundle when you are done.

The panel shows the total, such as In all 90 min, and the price. The length and the price follow the parts. You do not set them yourself. If you change a part later, open the bundle and save it again.

Select Switch the bundle off to make the event a normal one again. Bookings that exist stay as they are. Read the Bookings tab article for the rest of that page.

Which events can be parts

A part must meet these rules.

  • It is one of your own events. Each part is booked with its own host, so a bundle cannot reach across hosts.
  • It has a single seat. A group event cannot be a part.
  • It does not need your approval. A bundle books at once, so a step in the middle would break it.
  • It is not a bundle itself.

The panel only lists events that meet these rules.

What the visitor sees

The booking page offers start times for the whole bundle. A start time appears only when every service is free in its turn, by its own hours, calendars and other bookings. If one service is busy at its place in the chain, that start is not offered.

Before the visitor confirms, the form shows What you book. It lists each service with its time and length, then In all minutes, one after the other.

Payment

The visitor pays once, for the total. Each part is charged at its own price. The money goes to your connected Stripe account, like any paid booking. See Courses and drop in classes for the same style of single payment.

Nothing is booked until the payment succeeds. Then every part is booked together.

Cancelling

Each part is its own booking. It follows the cancel rules of its own event.

On the cancel page the visitor can cancel one part, or all upcoming parts. If a part was paid, the credit for a cancelled part goes back at that part's own price, not an average.

Limits to know

Keep these in mind.

  • The questions on the bundle form are not copied to the parts.
  • A bundle has no seats, add ons or coupons.
  • If a part is taken while the visitor pays, nothing is booked and the whole payment goes back, fee included.
  • Only the first part must respect your minimum notice. The later parts ignore it, because they follow the first.
  • The visitor cannot choose which services. A bundle is always the full set.

Rooms and equipment are counted for each part. See Rooms and equipment.
