The short version

Open the event and select QR Code. You see the code with the TimelyDo logo in the middle, the link it opens, and the options for colour and size. Scanning it opens your booking page in one step.

Colour and size

Pick one of the colours or your own. Keep the code dark on a light background, because that is what phones read best. The sizes are small (256 pixels), medium (512) and large (1024).

Downloading

PNG and SVG download the code. Use SVG when it is printed large, because it stays sharp at any size. Copy copies the link itself.

Counting scans

Count scans in Analytics is on by default. It adds a small source tag to the link, so visits from the code show up under Campaigns in the Traffic view of the event's Analytics. Switch it off if you want the plain link.

FAQ

Q

Does the code stop working if I change the event?

No. It opens the same link. Only changing the event's link in the editor changes where it leads, so keep it once you have printed a code.
Q

Can people book a private event with the code?

No. A private event cannot be booked by anyone. A hidden event can, as long as they have the link.
